Club trophies

Each year trophies in a number of categories are awarded to club members.

The Nelson Trout Fishing Club has a long tradition of presenting trophies to members.  The details of fish caught by members going back to the early 1960's provide an historical record of the local fishery as well as the broader fishery in New Zealand.

Due to the importance of maintaining this historical record of trout being caught by members, the Club will continue to support the awarding of trophies.  Where possible, members are encouraged to practice catch and release.
