New committee roles and portfolios allocated

The new Club committee met for the first time last week, the following roles and responsibilities were established.

Portfolio holder is responsible for completing actions and reporting back to the Committee. Portfolio holder co-opt other club members including other committee members to assist.

• President – Don

• Secretary – David

• Treasurer – Megan

• Newsletter – James

• Website – Ken assisted by Marco (GIS specialist) Ed, Patric (social media) & Gebhard

• Monthly speakers –Rob

• Fishing events – Sophie, assisted by Rob, Patric

• Mentoring – Initially Ken, Noel to assist and then lead,

• Auction – supporting Cameron and Don, Bob

• Librarian – Ed Oct/ Nov - sell of books at club night

• Sponsorship & Advertising – Shona create a rate card based on $110 for half page

• Advocacy – Rob, David

• Meet & greet new members, name tags – Bob

• Fly-tying convenor - Sophie

• Trophy master – Don
